Essentially, the new frontier of the 21st century is of necessity, humanity itself.

The Original New Frontier, symbolized by his Moonshot and Beyond idea, is the title theme of the Presidential Administration of the late, Hon. John Fitzgerald Kennedy, 35th President of the United States, January 1, 1961 – November 22, 1963.
The term New Frontier was utilized by presidential candidate John F. Kennedy in his acceptance speech in the 1960 presidential election to the Democratic Party at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as his slogan to inspire America to support his bid for the presidency. The phrase developed into a label that defined his administrations’ domestic and foreign policies, programs, as well as prophetic intentions.
POTUS Kennedy maintained that, like the Americans of the western frontier in the nineteenth century, Americans of the twentieth century had to rise to new challenges, such as achieving equality of opportunity for all…thereby exemplifying by his own, active, Presidential leadership, in Civil Rights, primarily and foremost of and for the US citizens of chattel slavery heritage, for the sake of national security.
Essentially, proclaiming at all US citizens, be active according their Preamble Oath of Citizenship, combined with his clarion call to them/us, as Abraham Lincoln says, “us, the living”, to “…ask, what you can do for your country.”
Post the November 22, 1963 assassination of JFK, with the ascendancy of Vice POTUS, the Hon. Lyndon Johnson, the slain Commander in Chief’s New Frontier theme spawned the latter’s, Great Society.
The Great Society was a set of domestic policies and programs launched by the Hon. Democratic President, Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964–65.
The main goal was the elimination of poverty and racial injustice…essential the earth-bound-on-the-ground terrestrial (, i.e., “achieving equality of opportunity for all”, particularly the full, experiential Civil Rights for the Negroes – black citizens, etc.) aspect of the New Frontier, as opposed to his outer space, moon-shooting and beyond, celestial.
Tragically, the second phase of the New Frontier theme was not accomplished as governmental, professional and collegiate research reveals that the state and looming fate of the Americans at the center of this Administration’s objectives for the sake of the nation and world, is worse now, post the early 1960’s, instead of better.
Of course, in some areas and for some black citizens, the racial, economic social-civic divide has closed significantly.
Unfortunately, according to research, statistics and manifest conditions in society, particularly in our country’s urban centers, where most black citizens resides, what the late POTUS Johnson dubbed “America’s War On Poverty”, officially, United States Public Law 88-452, the Economic Opportunity Act of August 20, 1964, failed.
In fact, some 50 years later, the descendants of the Americans upon whose backs this nation of immigration is built, being a mere 12% of the general population, they disproportionately and often numerically, lead all other ethnic groups in nearly every negative, social statistic.
US black citizens are over 60% of the national homeless population; in LA City proper and County, black citizens are 8% and 9% yet are over 40% respectfully in each; and in downtown LA’s Skid Row, the “ground zero and black hole vortex”, of the national capital of homelessness, over 90% are black men, followed by black women and their children, and then the others.
This time, through the New Frontier II:OH, by Presidential edict, we will truly access and apply the wonder technologies harvested from the first, original, JFK New Frontier I space odysseys to the moon, Mars, and beyond, on earth’s humanity, via its’ homeless. As Mr. Kennedy says,
“We stand today on the edge of a New Frontier — the frontier of the 1960s, the frontier of unknown opportunities and perils, the frontier of unfilled hopes and unfilled threats. … Beyond that frontier are uncharted areas of science and space, unsolved problems of peace and war, unconquered problems of ignorance and prejudice, unanswered questions of poverty and surplus.”
In the words of Robert D. Marcus: “Kennedy entered office with ambitions to eradicate poverty and to raise America’s eyes to the stars through the space program.
In conclusion, the New Frontier II:OH is the tool by which We the People can now apply to all of humanity via the Los Angles model. Essentially, the new frontier of the 21st century is of necessity, about humanity itself.
